There are many types of treatments offered by Las Vegas chirorpactors, among them is Electrostim therapy.  This gentle but effective method is explained below.

Electrostim therapy utilizes a TENS unit which stands for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation.  It is a small battery operated machine utilizing electrical transmission to decrease pain.  Electrodes are applied to the affected area.  The machine is turned on and an electrical current is sent through the electrodes.  A tingling sensation is felt in the underlying skin and muscle.  This signal disrupts the pain signal sent from the affected area to the surrounding nerves.  By breaking this signal, the patient experiences less pain.

Electrostim Therapy is a safe and effective method of pain management though oftentimes people find it slightly scary. Make sure to tell your doctor if you have reservations and get the information you need. As with all beneficial therapies, you should be relaxed and comfortable in order to get the most from the treatment.
